Discover Wirt Pioneers

The Daughters of the American Pioneers (DAP) work to preserve and share the history of Wirt County. The Elizabeth DAP Chapter manages the Beauchamp-Newman Museum and the Beauchamp Cemetery and hosts the annual Wirt County Pioneer Days.

A historic house museum located in Elizabeth, West Virginia works to preserve and tell the history of Wirt County.

Held every October, Pioneer Days is a weekend full of fun activities, vendors, and food.  The weekend concludes with a Civil War Reenactment Battle.
